Mark Phillips

Mark joined GE Healthcare in May of 2002 through the acquisition of iPath, a Perioperative software company where he worked for six years as an engineer, project manager, and technologist as well as providing technical representation for the sales organization. After joining GE, Mark worked in the Healthcare IT Technology and Architecture office focusing on advanced technology and partner relationships. He also played a key role in the engineering and strategic planning process. Mark joined the Healthcare Knowledge and Connectivity Solutions business as a Research and Analysis Manager responsible for focus on the intersection of cutting edge technology and healthcare market needs before recently moving into Product Management.

Mark has over 15 years of experience in healthcare information technology and brings a real passion for understanding the interaction of market trends, innovation and technology in the healthcare domain. He participates regularly in advanced technology and strategy planning as well as on special projects with the Global Research Center.

He received his BS in Management from Tusculum College in Tennessee and his MS in Medical Informatics from Northwestern University in Illinois. He is also a Six Sigma certified Green Belt and an active member of the HIMSS and AMIA organizations.
