About Farrell Pierson, MD
Dr. Pierson leads the Clinical Engagement Team with both Centricity Electronic Medical Record and Centricity Practice Solution. His emphasis is on Product configuration and Clinical Workflow consultation. The primary goal is to make practice clinical workflow more efficient.
Dr. Pierson is a physician (Cardiologist) with 20 years of Medical practice experience. This includes 8 years of medical practice in the US Navy where he completed his cardiology fellowship and served 2 years in Japan. He is a graduate of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He is board certified in cardiology and is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Pierson was a GE Electronic Medical Record customer for over 7 years before joining GE full time as a Solution Consultant in 2007. He is currently working as a clinical consulting engagement lead working with medical practices to improve product usage and clinical workflows to increase effective usage of electronic medical records and efficiency of clinic workflow.
