About David C White
Dave White is the Product Management General Manager for GE Healthcare IT’s VNA solution known as Centricity Clinical Archive. After graduating from Southern Regional high school, Dave decided early to go serve his country and join the US Army. Dave went to Basic Training at Ft. Dix, between his junior and senior year of high school and selected the MOS of 91P, now known as 68P as an X-ray Technologist. After finishing high school he started his AIT at Ft. Sam Houston in San Antonio, TX. He finished his second phase of AIT at Walter Reed Medical Center in Washington DC where he cared for our Grenada wounded comrades. Dave continued his career and was stationed at FT Polk, Louisiana for four years as an X-ray Technologist where he earned the rank of E-5 Sargent. He then received orders to transfer to Ft Devens, Massachusetts to be Assistant NCOIC, and training NCOIC. During his time at Ft Devens he received orders to deploy as part of Dessert Shield / Storm. Dave was the NCOIC of Radiology for the 46th Combat Support Hospital and supported the 82nd Airborne Division in Iraq during both the air campaign and ground war. He returned from the Middle East and decided to separate from the Army after 10 years of service to start his civilian career. Dave has worked at all levels in the Radiology Department, during this time went to college and received a degree in Information Technology. He now works for General Electric Healthcare IT as a General Manager for the VNA solution known as Centricity Clinical Archive. Dave is married to Lisa who also graduated from Southern Regional and has 5 children together, one of which is a Sargent in the US Army, serving as a X-ray technologist and a two time Iraq veteran.
